Apply 1-2 Teaspoons to damp skin. Massage into skin until it forms a fluffy lather. Using warm water will help soften the follicles for a closer shave. Shave as normal, rinse remaining soap off with warm water.
Mango Butter, Shea butter, Foaming Butter, Bentonite Clay, Chamomile extract, Fragrance
1. Wicks away impurities (like a mud facial mask)
2. Adds lubricity - Bentonite is an extremely slippery substance. It is used in drilling mud, and anyone who has ever worked on a drilling rig will back me up on the slipperyness.
3. Allows for even dispersion of scent throughout the soap
A study published in the February 1983 "Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology" used bentonite clay on mesh gauze for absorbing sebum to determine the skin's secretion rate. The study showed that subjects with acne inflammation secrete three times as much sebum as those with clear skin. Bentonite was the clay of choice for the scientific group, due to its electrical properties. When mixed with water and applied to the skin's surface, its molecules become charged and draw out toxins from beneath the skin.
